Introducing Protospace. And Yes, It's got 3D Printers
Updated: 23 hours ago
Hello, everyone. I'd like to introduce to you this makerspace that I found in Calgary, Canada called Protospace.

Protospace is one of Calgary’s non-profit makerspaces. Protospace has a wood shop, metal shop, sewing room, 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics lab, plus much more. All of the things above are freely accessible to anyone who is a member of Protospace. Part of what Protospace does is make people who go there familiar with equipment that they are previously unfamiliar with. All skill levels are welcome. Membership is $55 / month for 24/7 access.
Protospace is where members share each other's knowledge, equipment, and ideas. Protospace has no owners, shareholders, employees, or staff. Everything Protospace does is driven by Protospace's members volunteering.
Indeed, Protospace also has an open house every Tuesday from 7 P.M. to 10 P.M. That is the main way in which I participate in Protospace nowadays. And I've certainly found the benefits of going there every Tuesday for as long as I live in Calgary, Canada.
One more thing: I know how severe the misinformation on the internet is. This is why I do not want to be one of those who spread misinformation. It is also why I really recommend you contact me and have me start video meetings with you, or even meet you in person. This way, you will: a). Get to know whether it is a real person blogging here, and b). Apply your own method to verify how trustworthy I am.
Sincerely,
Yukun Wu
